Kuih Bangkit 好了，新年还会远吗？

我妈妈好大的面子，请了Mr. Chin两公婆到我家陪她做kuih bangkit。当然，阿薇的面子更大，因为妈这些年来都不做kuih bangkit的，这次阿薇仗着自己梆了牙，撒娇说吃不了硬的食物，妈妈只好做咯~

我不是kuih bangkit的支持者，但我喜欢那木模敲打桌面的声音，那是原始的节奏，是古老的想念，是新年的跫音……

    and again, i told mama the only thing i can't eat is nuts.

    I can eat little Kuih Bangkit as it is heaty and easy to get pimples.. I cannot take nuts too. :(
